In 1984 first company to introduce biodegradable lubricants from harvestable raw materials.
1985 First company to introduce “LOW MISTING” oils which improve environmental protection and work place conditions.
1986 Produced a new generation of base oils – hydro-cracked and hydro-isomerized also called molecularly converted (MC) base oils. Their characteristics are LOW AROMATICS (no toxicity) and LOW MISTING (less emissions).
1991introduced first high performance ZINC FREE hydraulic oils. Zinc is known to pollute water and ground.
1993 first company to introduce biodegradable engine oil (PLANTOMOT) in Germany.
1994 introduced the concept of “Oil instead of Emulsion”, at Mercedes Benz”. It is a machine tool lubrication concept that reduces emissions and improves work conditions.
1997 patent issued for PLANTOTRONIC; low emission engine oil derived from harvestable raw materials.
1997 introduction of biodegradable lubricant to German Railways, for the lubrication of Railroad Vehicle Wheel Flanges.
